Once again Otis King - or should I say, Andrew Peters - delivers an enjoyable read. I took the advice in the "Disclaimer" and savored the stories in individual doses. Okay, a couple of times I couldn't stop and snarfed two or three. They are fun plots, written with a fun attitude.Keep 'em coming!

Mr Peters excels in the art of the droll. These crime shorts are a perfect medium for his dry wit, with intelligent, clever stories garbed as they are in the ploys of Welsh born blues detective, Otis King, entertaining the reader with adventures in the city of Memphis and beyond. Come away into his office, grab a slug of imperfect celtic bourbon, to wash down his auntie's Welshcakes, or a slice of his leek-and-whatever pizza. The episodes sparkle, and if they don't make you at least smile, check your pulse, you may be dead already. Enjoyable to the nth.... bring on more Mr Peters..LUV IT!
The author pulls no punches - including extending an invitation to readers to consider "Governor Parton" for Tennessee. Quick short reads guaranteed to stoke the imagination and amuse, particularly for those of the Welsh persuasion. Once you've read the first story and got inside Otis Kings' head, the remainder of the stories seem so much more plausible.
