When I first picked it up to begin reading this book I lost track of time keeping my up into the early morning hrs. When I first started reading, "Chasing Faith", I wasn't really sure what I'd gotten myself into. Was it a love story? Was it a mystery? Turns out, it was a little of both and a lot of fun. The format is interesting in that each chapter begins with a character's name, then an entry from Faith's diary, giving you insight into her previous life in small bits and pieces, then back to the character that chapter is based on. Going back and forth was a bit disconcerting at first, but I quickly adjusted and enjoyed the different 'voices'.
This is a good read, perfect for summer on the back deck or poolside. The closer you get to the end, the more you'll want to keep reading, just to figure out what the heck's going on. Very creative and innovative, I can honestly say I've never read anything quite like it.
I'm looking forward to reading more from this new author. Hopefully she'll draw from the characters she's already introduced us too and let us get to know them better. I'd be really interested in getting to know Cheyenne more and finding out how someone so young managed to become so worldly wise and strong. What a great role model for young women everywhere! Keep up the great work, Ms. Nagle!

An amazing debut novel! I laughed, I cried, and I couldn't put it down! 'Chasing Faith' is a gripping story of a high school student with a haunting past. Phar West Nagle is a gifted author. I look forward to her future books!
Chasing Faith is an amazing book, the author did an excellent job writing this story with excellent word choice that painted a vivid picture in my mind. As always, I am truly amazed at the talent this author has!
A captivating story with a well developed protagonist.
What I liked most about Chasing Faith was the detailed psychology of its large cast of characters. The novel shifts in perspective from on chapter to the next, which allows for the reader to see the main characters in a more objective light than in many books. By the end, the characters felt like friends, which is really quite an accomplishment.
